SPEARS BUILDING CONDO FILM/TV and PHOTO SHOOT POLICY

 

 

The following policy has been officially established by the Board of Managers:

 

1.Film or Television Shoots (defined as any commercial, video, studio or independent film, television or cable production) are prohibited.

 

2.Large Photo Shoots (defined as still photography for print and/or web sources, where production vehicles are required) are prohibited.

 

3.Small Photo Shoots (defined as still photography for print and/or web sources, with no production vehicles, and a one-time move in/move out of all equipment are permitted.

 

Small Photo Shoot Requirements

 

If you are hosting a small photo shoot, you are required to:

Schedule the move-in/move-out of equipment with the building manager at least 48 hours prior to the shooting date.

Advise the Board. in writing one week in advance of the shoot. Failure to do so will result in the crew/equipment being denied access

Submit an Insurance Certificate naming The Spears Building Condominium as additionally insured to the building manager.

Submit a refundable Damage Security Deposit, made payable to The Spears Building Condominium, from a New York City Bank Account, in the amount of $500. This deposit must be sent to The Andrews Building Corporation c/o Anthony Milstein at least 48 hours prior to the shooting date.

 

Use of Common Areas for Filming

 

The common areas of the building are not to be used for small photo shoots. Common areas are defined as the hallways, elevator, lobby, stairwel1s, roof deck, and any exterior element of the building (stairways, railings, lighting, door handles, etc.).

 

Weekends and Holiday Shoots

 

No shoots are allowed on weekends or holidays.

 

Penalty

 

The Board of Managers reserves the right to impose a penalty of $10,000 per day to unit owners who do not comply with these policies.
